Although the protagonists are a delightful teaming of distrusting amateur sleuthing mages, the sinister villain owns the thrilling whodunit storyline. Readers will relish this entry in the Kellison Shadow realm.

Cari and Mason work together to find the villain that threatens not only their lives, but their world. With the plague, Shadow is in the open and the humans are not happy about it. Danger lurks in every turn of their investigation and the question of who to trust becomes first, and foremost, in their minds. Second, perhaps, to their growing attraction that by mage rules can't happen.

SOUL KISSED by Erin Kellison is action upon action from the first page straight on through to the end. If you read the first book in the series, FIRE KISSED, you will already know some of the characters and their stories. Whereas with some series, you must read from the beginning, and in order, and although I do recommend reading the first before the second, it's not imperative that you do because they work well as stand-alone reads.

SOUL KISSED is powerful, action-packed, and Erin has created a world that intermingles with human lives in such a way as to believe it could very possibly exist just the way she's written it. The character relationships, such as that between Mason and Fletcher, are believable, sensitive, and loving when they need to be and powerful, aggressive, and protective when needed to survive. The characters are three dimensional, easily related to even with their extraordinary abilities, and long lasting. I have no doubt that we'll see more of Mason, Cari, and Fletcher in the books to come.

I highly recommend SOUL KISSED by Erin Kellison if you're a lover of dark and dangerous, magic seeping from every corner of the page, good versus evil plot lines, and urban fantasy with enough paranormal romance heat that you'll be begging for more as soon as you close this book.

I have read all of the Shadow Kissed series and I have enjoyed every book. They very well written and well worth reading.
I really love this world that Erin has created. I love opportunities to live in it...even for just a little while.
I totally enjoyed the entire series. I got the first book free, but enjoyed it so much that I had to buy the rest of them. I hope there will be more soon )
I have thoroughly enjoyed Erin Kellison's Shadow Kissed series from the very first book, and Soul Kissed is no exception. She's created a beautifully complex world and has populated it with truly fascinating characters. Definitely a terrific addition to her series.
I couldn't put it down. I have read all of the shadow books now and this was as terrific as the rest. I don't usually write reviews and read about 5 books a week but felt compelled to write this review.
Out of death and destruction come new beginnings. Amazing inner strength, family, loyalty, a bit of magic and a lot of free will and love, and down come the walls of fear and bias to provide the work and humanity with a chance at survival. Great story line, great length for the story to play out. Perfect again Ms. Kellison. The entire series of Shadow is a must read. I highly recommend it.
